{Kristi}Fight Like A Girl
Dear Kristi,
Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other thing. Cancer may take away some of your physical abilities but it cannot touch your mind, it cannot touch your heart , and it cannot touch your soul. I pray cancer doesn’t bring you to your knees, instead it raises you to your feet. Cancer is a word not a sentence nor a death sentence. Don’t lose hope. Faith is daring to go beyond what our eyes can see and believing what only God can do. It’s about focusing on the fight and not the fright. You must embrace the pain and burn it as fuel for your journey. When you get to the end of the rope, tie a knot and hang on. Please remember you are not dying from cancer, you are living with it. Did you know more than 10 million Americans are living with cancer, and they demonstrate the ever-increasing possibility of living beyond cancer? We believe you are the possibility, you will rejoice cancer free and live far beyond this day.
Romans 8:18 – The pain that you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.
When the sun goes down, the stars come out, and some days there might not be a song in you heart. Please sing anyway. You are not alone, when one has cancer everyone who loves them has cancer. We rally around you fighting with you, and fighting for you.
As I looked through the lens of my camera watching the raw emotions of what was happening around me, my heart felt something I might not ever be able to explain. The strength and courage it took for you to sit so calmly gripping the hands of the ones you love most transformed me. In those brief moments it was as if God himself came down from the heavens surrounding you all. Touching your hand and ever so softly whispering “Be strong and courageous..it is I who goes with you..I will not leave you or forsake you…I love you”.
A Hero: Is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
You are our hero!!
We love you dearly,

October 8, 2018So sorry as I see this thru tears. Did call Mary Showalter and told her appears from FB health struggles are occurring but had no clue. Prayers and my strongest best wishes to you all. Thinking a proper example of Kristi means strong, courageous, beautiful, giving and ability to accept trials in life with Gods constant help and direction. I will be praying for you and your journey… Also applies to another Kristi.
